These are ones of my all time favorites! I use it in centers in the classroom. I print 5 of each number mat (because I have 5 children in each center). For this activity you will need:
- Markers (for the "dot it" part). You can also substitute with stickers or counters placing.
- Play dough (for the "build it" part). This is a hands on activity for mastering the writing direction. You can also use ring pasta of pompoms (or even counters) to form the number instead of the play dough.
- Pencils, markers (for the "write it" part"). I use white board markers because I laminate all the sheets for re-using.
